At Bright Beginnings, we believe the perfect blend of education is a flexible, fun, fresh-air-filled, person-centred, learning environment, tailored for liberal and forward-thinking families.
You will see the best outcomes for your little one's when they are given the space to develop at their own pace- learning about community and cooperation.
We offer a morning snack of fruit, an afternoon snack for the road home and lunch catering to all Bright Beginnings children. Meals can be adapted for all stages of weaning, through to older kids that are ready to eat full meals. We create a new menu weekly, shared with parents and carers at the start of each new week.
We happily accommodate dietary requirements: specifically, non- dairy, allergies and vegan diets. Everything is cooked without salt and sugar, with a huge range of grains and veggies in every meal.
All our menus are vegetarian, (unless requested otherwise) with a fish option every two weeks. Even better, all of our delicious meals are cooked fresh daily, by our team. What’s more, we send photos of meals daily, and an update you, on how much your little one has eaten.
Nature can be our greatest teacher, which is why we spend time outdoors each day to allow children to make sense of their environments, where they learn to respect the natural world.
We encourage conversation about emotions, health and wellbeing with all of our children. Talking about feelings is one of the pivotal milestones for any child to grow and transition into a confident adult.
Our beautiful educators speak English, Spanish or Catalan. Your little one will be immersed in a multicultural environment promoting; greater focus, cognitive abilities and an acceptance of changing societies.
The city is our playground. We structure our week based on the weather, typically starting and ending the day at a local park, or local play space.
With ongoing conversations to help shape their own curriculum, the interests of each child can be built upon, increasing prior knowledge and ensuring their learning is meaningful.
Despite it not being mandatory, many children begin their educational journey at age three in Spain. We let young learners lead - observing their interests and building our projects around them, instilling the necessary skills for them to confidently move onto a school setting and become well-adapted to new environments, later on.
It may sound like a bold statement, but we think you will agree. Keep reading to learn more about the faces that will become your family.
“It was just the way they were treating and interacting with the kids. It's like a family. It just felt like the right decision…I'm always a person that needs to have a good gut feeling, you know. And yeah, this was just right. So yeah, I listened to my heart.”
- One happy parent
